A short collection of poems capturing my year long struggle with depression. It was about two o'clock in the morning driving home from a second-shift dead-end job after moving back home to live with my parents after eight months of freedom. For a second I thought if I just go really fast and crash into something it'll be over. I sped up to eighty and then something stopped me.

I realized a lot of was wrong with my life for that thought to enter my head, so I spent the next year learning a new life. I wrote pages about my life and these poems to express the pain of my past, the struggle to change, and desire to overcome my limitations of fear, shyness, and self-doubt.
